Between 2015 and 2020, I penned a column for the Beaver County Times called “Histories & Mysteries”. What started out as a topical history column eventually became one of the most popular recurring pieces ever. The content of the 250+ editions of this column combine to make up the most detailed, professionally-researched Beaver County history ever written. Over the course of five years, the column delved into the history of every community, major employer, and important event in Beaver County since 1800. Some editions even tackled stories from Lawrence and Allegheny Counties. I have archived many of the important editions of “Histories & Mysteries” here, and the entire catalog is available from the Beaver County Times subscription service.
